Drive Soul Crazy![]() InfoReviewOn Jan 2, 2006 Nyx Midnight said: Still mostly a gag book, but it gets more serious towards the end. I absolutely loved Vergil's death scene, it was so bitter sweet, and Dante was holding him so tenderly... DetailsRating: R Pairing(s): (Female) Shadow/Dante, Phantom/Dante, Nelo Angelo/Dante, Vergil/Dante. Plot: The game is nearly over in this book; it starts with the Shadow Hunt secret mission and end with Nelo Angelo's third and final defeat. But first, we're shown one of the Death Scissor's scheme to make money: it cuts some hair off Dante's head and sells them to lovesick Marionettes XD Then comes a lady Shadow determined to mate with Dante and two other Shadows that seem to stand by and do little besides dress Dante back up when the deed is over and the first Shadow leaves him without even saying goodbye *snickers* Following this, a lot of gag strip show some monsters lusting after Dante, from Phantom to the skeleton of the pirate captain to that impaled skeleton in the Coliseum. I kid you not. The book ends with Mundus crying a river and Nelo Angelo/Vergil's touching death scene, where the twins are finally reunited, but too late. With his dying breath, Vergil asks for a kiss from Dante, but he unfortunately passes away before Dante can kiss him. Aware that Vergil is now dead, Mundus puts the final phase of his plan into motion and sends Trish to lead Dante to his demise. External LinksPowered by MediaShelf. Fugue
